Formed in Mother Hackney, east London in the early 21st century, Morning Bride is Amity Joy Dunn, Mark James Pearson and Pete Bennett.
Amity (lead vocals, melodica, accordian, keyboards), Mark (lead vocals, rhythm and bass guitars, songs) and Pete (lead and slide guitars) variously turn out as a duo, a trio or band, fully-electrified, semi-acoustic or bare-boned, with guest players as and when.
Morning Bride released their long-awaited second album The North Sea Rising in 2013, the much-anticipated follow-up to the critically-acclaimed debut Lea Valley Delta Blues. The third album, provisionally titled Transatlantica, is due for release in 2016.
