So is there any truth towards the buzz?
“It’s an extremely promising substance and there is a large number of studies that demonstrate its possible,” says Dr. Kevin Hill, addiction psychiatrist and Director for the Division of Addiction Psychiatry at Beth Israel Deaconess infirmary. “But while pre-clinical or studies that are animal CBD could have anti-anxiety properties and can even be antipsychotic, in the most common of uses, there isn’t plenty of evidence.”
