Time Delay

Walking side by side, with the living dead
Call this place a home, it’s just another lonely bed
Killing all my time by the turning of the tide
Home is anywhere I have you by side

Memories are wasted on me without you

Baby this time delay is a crime
that we have to pay
for in kind, day after long day
so entwined so far away

Carrying this cross, that was never ours to bear
I’ll call this place a home, when this home is shared
I’ve been here so long, but it’s still a no man’s land
Home is anywhere you’re holding my hand

memories…..

Baby this time delay is a crime
that we have to pay
for in kind, day after long day
so entwined so far away

Imaginary lines are keeping us apart
in different worlds but under the same stars
Photographs will fade, but I’ll remain the same
Home is anywhere together we will stay
